Mastering aviation. Combination of the most advanced aerospace technologies.

Moving at hypersonic speed

Destinus built a truly unique team of propulsion and aeronautics engineers. The company completed several major milestones, flew two prototypes, and ran the first hydrogen engine.

Destinus has received significant funding from private and public sources. In 2026, we plan to test the supersonic hydrogen prototype, the first in the history of aviation, and by 2030, to build a hypersonic airplane.

Hypersonic aircraft adoption barriers
Sonic boom limits the hypersonic flights over the landmass, like from Europe to Asia or between America's east and west coasts. Because of the range limitation for aircraft under development (less than 7,800 km), the only possibility is transatlantic flights.

The fuel efficiency of a hydrogen powerplant enables ultra-long flights. Hypersonic aircraft can fly long "bypass routes" over water or desert to avoid populated regions. It solves the sonic boom problem and opens the world to hypersonic aviation. *
